How OSTV Movies Charges My Account

OSTV Movies is a monthly service that will automatically charge you every month on the date you signed up. If your billing date is scheduled for a date that does not occur in a given month, you’ll be charged on the last day of that month instead. Your payment method will be charged at the beginning of your billing cycle, but it may take a few days for the charge to post to your account..

Why was I charged for the free trial?

When you sign up for a free trial, OSTV Movies verifies your payment information by submitting an authorization for roughly the same amount as the cost of the monthly OSTV Movies membership. This process helps us ensure that the information provided is associated with a valid, open account that can be charged successfully in the future. The authorization is not a charge, and will drop off of your account.

Why was I charged earlier than expected?

If your billing date is scheduled for a date that does not occur in a given month, you’ll be charged on the last day of that month instead.

Depending on your payment type, you may see an authorization on your account or bill up to 72 hours before your billing date.

What is an authorization?

Authorizations are requests sent by OSTV Movies to your financial institution to verify that your payment method works. These requests are not charges, but in some cases they may affect your available account balance.

Why does an authorization affect my available balance?

OSTV Movies submits an authorization for a certain amount, which can vary by region or by financial institution. This amount temporarily affects your available balance because your financial institution is checking to see if you have those funds available.

OSTV Movies does not actually collect this authorization amount, and the authorization will automatically drop off your account. Check with your financial institution to learn when you can expect them release the funds back to your available balance.

Will I be charged any other fees?

Netflix only charges the monthly subscription fee, which may or may not include local tax depending on your location. Some financial institutions add additional transaction fees for foreign transactions. These fees are charged by your bank, so if you have questions, please contact them directly.

On a free trial?

If you started your membership on a free trial, we won’t charge you until the following month on the date after your free trial ends.

OSTV Movies was unable to collect a payment because the card issuer or financial institution rejected the monthly charge. To resolve the issue, sign in to your OSTV Movies account and update or change your payment method. We will verify the new information, and notify you as soon as the payment is successful.

If you’re still having trouble updating your account with new payment information, you may want to reach out to your card issuer or financial institution to ensure the payment information is up to date and supports e-commerce transactions.
